Job Description

Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an opportunity for a Travel RN Nurse Coordinator to support Federal Occupational Health clinics in the Eastern Region of the United States.  This contract position offers:

  • PRN Hours
    • Must be available to work at least 2 days per week when traveling
  • Must be able to travel to any state to work
    • Possible site locations include but are not limited to NY, DC, MD, VA, PA, MI, IL, IN, KY, GA, FL, LA, and TX
    • Reimbursements available for lodging, food, and travel expenses
  • No weekends or holidays
  • Any State License Accepted

Job Requirements

 

The Registered Nurse position requires:

  • Graduate from a National League of Nursing accredited school (Diploma, AD or BSN)
  • 1 Year experience in an Urgent Care/ER setting
  • 2 Years experience in Occupational Health or related experience such as public health, community health, outpatient clinic, school nursing, or in a physician office
  • 1 Year of management experience
  • Minimum 3 Years registered nurse experience
  • Recent clinical experience required
  • Active RN license
  • CPR/AED certification

 

Tasks

  • May provide direct nursing care at SPS.
  • Coordinates, plans, implements, and evaluates all activities, including administrative activities in the SPS and ensures that all services under Type I and Type II agreements are delivered and recorded in the FOH MIS.
  • Is knowledgeable in epidemiology, medical surveillance, and recognizing

    workplace hazards. Reports to the Area Nurse Manager
