Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for a civilian Radiologist supporting the Naval Health Clinic in Charleston, SC.  This contract position offers:

  • Part-time opportunity
  • Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:30am - 4:00pm
  • Average of 40 hours per two-week period
  • No night, weekend, holiday, or on-call responsibilities
  • 10 hours of personal leave shall be credited after every 80 hour period of services provided
  • 10 paid Federal Holidays per year

Job Requirements:

The Position will have the following requirements:


  • Possess a Doctorate Degree in Medicine from an accredited college, a Doctorate Degree in Osteopathy from an accredited college, or permanent certification by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates
  • Have graduated from a residency training program in Diagnostic Radiology approved by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education or the Committee on Postdoctoral Training of the American Osteopathic Association
  • Possess and maintain a board certification in Diagnostic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology or by the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology
  • Possess and maintain a current, valid, unrestricted license in any one of the 50 states
  • Possess a minimum of 3 consecutive years of experience within the last 5 years as a Diagnostic Radiologist performing CT, MRI, Fluoroscopy, Mammography, Plain Film, and Ultrasound scans
  • Read digital mammograms under the contract. Provide written proof of at least 8 hours of training received in digital mammography. Performance under the contract requires meeting all requirements set forth by the FDA in 21 CFR Part 900 to be qualified to read mammograms in accordance with the Mammography Quality Standards Act, to include having read a minimum of 960 mammograms within the preceding 2 years
  • Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
