  • Job Description

    Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a current opportunity for a civilian Licensed Clinical Social Worker at the Health Clinic Columbus Air Force Base in Columbus, Mississippi.  This contract position offers:

    • Full time, 40 hours per week

    • Set schedule, no nights or weekends

    • Manageable patient workload 

    • Full benefits offered

    • Paid time off plus 10 paid Federal Holidays
    • Working with service men and women, mostly undergraduate pilot trainees.

    Job Requirements:

    The Position will have the following requirements:

    • Masters in Social Work
    • 3 years experience as an independent clinical social worker within the last 5 years in the evaluation and treatment of patients who have pain, psychological factors affecting their physical condition, or difficulty coping with medical problems.
    • Function in a patient-centered medical home (PCMH) location as provider of internal behavioral health consultant (IBHC)
    • Licensed Clinical Social Worker in any one of the fifty states, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam or the US Virgin Islands
    • BLS 

    Columbus Air Force Base is a United States Air Force base located approximately 9 miles north of Columbus, Mississippi. The host unit at Columbus is the 14th Flying Training Wing assigned to the

    Air Education and Training Command.  The 14 FTW's mission is to provide specialized undergraduate pilot training for U.S. Air Force and allied officers. Columbus AFB was established in 1941 as

    Air Corps Advanced Flying School, Columbus, Mississippi.
