    Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an opportunity for a civilian full time Physical Therapy Assistant at Ft. Belvoir Family Health Center in Fairfax, VA.  This contract position offers:


    • Monday-Friday daytime hours
    • Health, Dental and 401(k) benefits
    • Outpatient Setting
    • 10 Paid Holidays


    Job Requirements:

    The Physical Therapy Assistant will have the following requirements:


    • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
    • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant Associate Degree program.
    • Certification as a physical therapy assistant as determined by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), or state licensure as a physical therapy assistant.
    • Possess a minimum of one-year experience as a physical therapy assistant within the preceding 3 years OR have graduated from a Physical Therapy Assistant program within the preceding year.
    • Have and maintain current certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
    • Shall be able to read, write, and speak English well enough to effectively communicate with patients and other staff members.
    • Have knowledge of computer operations and proficiency in the use of basic word processing, data entry, and automated records.
