RN - Emergency Room

Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for a civilian Emergency Room Registered Nurse at Fort Lewis- Madigan Army Medical Center, just outside of Tacoma, WA.

Position Highlights:

• Two weeks paid time off
• Guaranteed 80 hours every 2 weeks
• 10 paid Federal Holidays
• Duty period is normally 12 hours in length and includes rotating shifts

Job Requirements:

• Must possess a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university; and/or graduate of an accredited National League of Nursing (NLN) School.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Have and maintain a current and valid state license (with no limitations, stipulations, or pending adverse actions) to practice as a Registered Nurse in one of the 50 States, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Islands.
• Must possess a current Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) or Course in Advanced Trauma Nursing (CATN) certification
• Must possess 1 year of experience in a level 2 trauma center or at least 1 year of experience as a critical care nurse within the last 3 years.
• Have and maintain current certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Must have a Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification.
