Spectrum Healthcare Resources is actively hiring a civilian Physician Assistant to provide Urgent Care services at the Dumfries Ambulatory Health Center in Dumfries, Virginia. This is a unique opportunity to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care to active-duty service members, veterans, and their families in the National Capital Region — all within a collaborative and well-resourced clinical setting.

Flexible Schedule

  • Part-Time | 16 hours/week

  • Evening Shifts | 4 days/week from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM

  • Urgent Care Hours: M–F: 7:00 AM–8:00 PM | Sat: 8:00 AM–2:00 PM

Role Expectations

  • Provide fast-paced care at 2–3 patients per hour

  • Deliver treatment within the clinic’s BLS-level scope

  • Work as an extension of Ft. Belvoir’s Emergency Department – patients requiring higher-level care are seamlessly transferred

  • Collaborate with seasoned physicians and experienced clinical leadership

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited PA program

  • Any active U.S. state license

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine

  • Active BLS and ACLS certifications

  • Active DEA registration
