Job Description

Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a POTENTIAL opportunity for a full-time Medical Logistics Supply Technician at Naval Medical Center Force in Portsmouth, VA.

 

Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Associate's degree or higher in biomedical engineering technology required; Additional accepted education includes completion of the Department of Defense Biomedical Equipment Technician Course within the last 24 months
  • At least 2 years of experience within the last 36 months required

Duties:

  • Train and guide lower grade military employees 
  • Installs, inspects, and repairs biomedical equipment and support systems 
  • Advises staff on operations and safe clinical applications of biomedical equipment
  • Provides technology management and equipment calibration support
  • Assesses and evaluates the condition of the in-use medical equipment for maintenance, upgrade, or replace recommendations

 

Position Highlights:

  • Full time 
  • Emphasis on work-life balance (No weekend, holiday, or on-call requirements)
  • Work will be accomplished in various departments of the medical treatment facility (satellite clinic, health, and wellness centers)
