Job Description

Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for a civilian Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery  Physician Assistant  at Travis Air Force Base in Fairfield.  This contract position offers:

 

  • Full-Time Position

  • Provide preoperative preparation
  • Obtains and evaluates medical histories, performs physical examinations,
    performs therapeutic and diagnostic procedures, and orders laboratory studies,
    radiographs, electrocardiograms, and other special examinations

 

Job Requirements:

 

The Physician Assistant will have the following requirements:

 

  • 24 months experience within the last 36 months as a Surgical Physician Assistant
  • BLS and ACLS Certification
  • Completion of an additional training, residency or fellowship program in Cardiac Surgery
