Core Responsibilities to includes:

• Help physical therapists to provide treatment that improves patient mobility, relieves pain, and prevents or lessons physical disabilities of patients
• Performs a variety of tasks as well as provides part of a patient’s treatment which may include helping patients exercise, use medical equipment, give messages, traction and ultra sound. 
• Records the patient’s response to treatment and reports the outcome of each treatment to the physical therapist.
• Data/records for the designated department areas to include orthopedic support and patient

Requirements:
* Education: Graduate of an accreditted Physical Therapy Assistant Associate Degree program.  
* Licensure: APTA or state licensure 
* Experience: 1-2 years of full-time experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant

* BLS certification
