Spectrum Healthcare Resources is a leading provider of healthcare services, and we are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team in Fayetteville, NC at Pope Army Air Field. Responsibilities:

  • Assist the dentist during dental procedures by providing chairside support.
  • Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials needed for dental procedures.
  • Take and process dental X-rays.
  • Record patient medical history and treatment information in electronic health records.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care.
  • Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited dental assistant program.
  • Current Dental Assistant certification in the state of South Dakota.
  • X-ray certification preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented healthcare setting.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of dental assisting experience.
  • Familiarity with electronic health records.
  • Experience with pediatric and general dentistry is a plus.
