Job Description

Join Our Team as a Medical Laboratory Technician!

Site: NHCP Laboratory OVERAGE

Location: Camp Pendleton, CA

Schedule: Services provided Sunday through Saturday, including federal holidays, between 0600 and 2330 hours. Shifts typically range from 8.5 to 13 hours, with an uncompensated 30 to 60-minute lunch break. Flexibility required for potential overtime hours, not exceeding 80 hours per two-week period without management approval. 

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Degree: Certificate.
  • Education: Graduate from a medical laboratory technician training program accredited by NAACLS, ABHES, or equivalent.
  • Certification: ASCP or AMT certification/registration as specified in the TO.
  • Experience: One year as specified in the TO. Military training of 50 or more weeks as a medical laboratory specialist may substitute for education and certification requirements.

Additional Requirements:

  • Accreditation: May be a graduate from a medical laboratory technician training program accredited by a regional accreditation program.
