Join Our Team as a Full-time Massage Therapist!
Site: Mental Health Clinic
Location: Camp Pendleton, CA
Schedule: Monday through Friday between 0600 to 1800, excluding federal holidays. Shifts are 8.5 to 10.5 hours, inclusive of a 30-minute or 1-hour uncompensated meal break. HCW will not exceed 80 hours per two-week period.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum one-year full-time experience within the last three years as a licensed massage therapist.
- Massage therapy licensure recognized by NCETMB.
Core Duties:
- Offer therapeutic massage treatments to aid patients' therapy for injuries and stress related to military training and combat.
- Provide a variety of massage therapy procedures and modalities effective for musculoskeletal pain and medical conditions.
- Serve as part of a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, coordinate, evaluate, and monitor patient health options and services.
- Assist in developing, analyzing, integrating, monitoring, and managing healthcare delivery systems to promote quality and cost-effective outcomes.
- Conduct patient examinations and develop treatment plans in coordination with a credentialed provider.
- Incorporate various massage therapy modalities such as Swedish, Shiatsu, deep tissue, myofascial release, reflexology, acupressure, sports massage, and more.
- Use complementary aids like infrared lamps, wet compresses, and whirlpool baths to enhance patient care.
- Obtain and record patients' medical histories and provide counseling on nutrition, exercise, stress management, and other related matters.
