Job Details:
- 80 hours per pay period

Job Requirements: Ind.Nurse
Degree: Associate's Degree in Nursing.
Education: Graduate from a college or university accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
Minimum of one year of experience in labor & delivery, maternal child, or perinatal special care, obtained after graduation.
Licensure: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse as required.
Certifications: Must possess and maintain certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) and Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring.
Additional Skills: Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and general data entry functions.
Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate patient care in collaboration with various healthcare professionals to ensure optimal clinical care, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Comply with established care and practice standards, policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Perform physical exams and health histories.
- Provide health promotions, counseling, and education.
- Administer medications, wound care, and various other personalized interventions.
- May provide clinical direction or assist in the instruction of care provided by other healthcare professionals, but may not serve as Charge Nurse on a unit/ward.
- Provide clinical direction for making patient care assignments based on the scope of practice and skill levels of assigned personnel.
- Recognize adverse signs and symptoms and respond quickly in emergency situations.
- Communicate and collaborate with a diverse group of people for the purpose of informing the healthcare team of plans/actions, for teaching/education to benefit the patient/family and organization.
