Position: RN Group Educator (One-day events, up to 52 events per year)

Location: Polacca VA Clinic, Polacca, AZ

Job Type: Part-time

Responsibilities:

• Conduct group and individual patient health education sessions
• Cover a range of topics including tobacco cessation, alcohol/substance abuse education, mental health, diabetes education, nutrition, lifestyle choices, high blood pressure management, cardiovascular wellness, and women's health wellness
• Engage participants with interactive and informative presentations
• Provide support and guidance to individuals seeking health education

Job Requirements:

• Current, unrestricted RN license in the state of practice
• Minimum 3 years of recent experience as a health educator
• BLS certification

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Experience in group education and patient interaction
• Knowledge of health education topics listed above
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse audiences
• CPR certification (preferred)
