Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Biomedical Equipment Technician to ensure the optimal functioning of medical devices and equipment at MAMC. Your expertise will support the delivery of high-quality healthcare services to our patients.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on a wide range of biomedical equipment
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to ensure equipment operates efficiently and safely
  • Collaborate with medical staff to provide technical support and training on the use of equipment
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and performance
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and standards to ensure a safe working environment

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in biomedical equipment maintenance and repair
  • Strong knowledge of medical equipment and its operation
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Certification from the International Certification Commission (ICC) as a Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET) is preferred but not required
