Health Educator

Position Overview: As a Health Educator, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing health education programs that improve the well-being of our patients and their families. Your efforts will help foster a healthier community by providing valuable information and resources.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and evaluate health education programs and materials
• Conduct health education sessions and workshops for patients, staff, and community members
• Assess the health education needs of the community and tailor programs accordingly
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to integrate health education into patient care plans
• Provide one-on-one health education and counseling to patients
• Maintain accurate records of program activities and outcomes
• Stay up-to-date with current health education practices and guidelines

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Health Education, Community Health, Public Health, or a related human services field from an accredited college or university
• At least one year of specialized experience as a Health Educator after graduation
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to develop and deliver engaging educational content
• Knowledge of health education theories and practices
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
