Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for a civilian Cardiac Anesthesiologist at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii. This contract position offers:

- Primary-call, secondary-call, and heart-call schedules at the discretion of the Chief, Anesthesia and Operative Services
- ON-CALL WEEKDAYS. The contract Anesthesiologist shall perform weekday on-call as needed. On-call duty hours for weekdays (Monday through Friday) are 1500- 0600 the following morning
- The contract Anesthesiologist shall perform weekend on-call as needed for a duration of 24 Hours. Weekend on-call consists of a Saturday or Sunday, beginning at 0600 and continuing until 0600 hours the following day.
The Anesthesiologist will have the following requirements:
- Current board certification by the American Board of Anesthesiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Anesthesiology
- Residency and internship approved through ACGME
- Shall have certification in Transesophageal Echocardiography, and/or significant experience (minimum 12 months, including call responsibility and minimum 50 cases beyond residency training) in cardiac anesthesiology. Knowledge of the provision of medical management and consultation during the perioperative period, in Pain Medicine and in critical care medicine.
- Current BLS and ACLS
- Active, unrestricted state license
