Gastroenterology RN

Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for a Registered Nurse-Gastroenterology at Eglin Air Force Base in Valparaiso, FL.

RN Position Details: Ind.Nurse

• Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 9 hour shifts
• No Weekend OR On-Call responsibilities!
• Any State License Accepted
• All paid Federal Holidays
• Opportunity to provide care for Active Duty Military and their dependents

Position Qualifications:

ADN – required

BSN Preferred - Graduate from a college or university accredited by National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC), or The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).

Minimum 3 years of Gastroenterology RN experience or related.

Certifications:  BLS, ACLS, minimum of 36 months of experience as a Clinical Nurse

within the last 48 months.

RN Core Duties:

• Facilitate the achievement of optimal outcomes in relation to clinical care, quality and cost effectiveness. Restocks exam/treatment/procedure rooms with adequate supplies.
• Ensure compliance with standards of care and practice in accordance with all established policies, procedures, and guidelines used in the MTF.
• Perform physical exam and health histories, provide health promotions, counseling, and education.
• Administer medications, wound care, and numerous other personalized interventions.
• Accountable for making patient care assignments based on the scope of practice and skill level of assigned personnel.
