Family Practice RN

Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for a Registered Nurse-Family Practice at Eglin Air Force Base in Valparaiso, FL.

RN Position Details: Ind.Nurse

• Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 9 hour shifts
• No Weekend OR On-Call responsibilities!
• Any State License Accepted
• All paid Federal Holidays
• Opportunity to provide care for Active Duty Military and their dependents

Position Qualifications:

Education: BSN preferred ADN Required - Graduate from a college or university accredited by National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC), or The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).

Minimum: 3 years of experience as a Family Practice RN or relatable.

Certifications:

• BLS
• ACLS - American Heart Association or the American Red Cross guidelines, in

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advance Life Support (PALS)

Are required.

• Certification for Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring, using the
• Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses guidelines, is

Required and must be recertified every two years.

• Shall have a minimum of 36 months of experience as a Clinical Nurse
• Within the last 48 months.

Licensure/Registration: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a

Registered Nurse in any one of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, the

Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or the U.S. Virgin Islands as required in the TO

RN Core Duties:

•  Coordinate patient care in collaboration with a wide array of healthcare professionals.
• Facilitate the achievement of optimal outcomes in relation to clinical care, quality and cost effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with standards of care and practice in accordance with all

established policies, procedures, and guidelines used in the MTF.

• Perform physical exam and health histories. Provide health promotions, counseling, and education. Administer medications, wound care, and numerous other personalized interventions.
• Accountable for making patient care assignments based on the scope of practice and skill level of assigned personnel.
• Recognize adverse signs and symptoms and quickly react in emergency situations.
