Position Requirements:

• Associates Degree of Nursing required
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
• 2 years of psychiatric or behavioral health RN experience and counseling in a clinical setting required
• Psychiatric/Mental Health RN certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) required
•  Licensure: Active and unrestricted RN license in any of the 50 states accepted

Core Duties:

• 
  Perform physical exams to behavioral health patients while also providing education about health promotion
• Administer prescribed medications and apply nursing interventions as ordered.
  • Direct and supervise care provide by other healthcare professionals.
• Accountable for making patient care assignments based on the scope of practice and skill level of assigned personnel
• Recognize patients at risk for harm to self and/or others or experiencing adverse signs and symptoms that require a fast response.
• Ability to assess and de-escalate life threatening situations and appropriately coordinate living save interventions
