Job Requirements:
- U.S. Citizenship
- Education: Master's degree in nursing from an accredited program (ACEN or CCNE).
- Licensure: Current, full, active, and unrestricted RN license.
- Certifications: Nurse Practitioner certification by ANCC, AANP, or other recognized national certification boards relevant to your specialty.
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
- BLS Certification: Must be current through the American Heart Association.
Key Duties:
- Provide comprehensive, outcome-based nurse practitioner services, including general screening, medical care, and examinations for routine, acute, and chronic conditions.
- Deliver patient education and counseling, focusing on preventive care, positive health behaviors, and self-care.
- Diagnose and treat common acute and chronic conditions, collaborate with physicians when necessary, and ensure patient care is aligned with clinical practice guidelines.
- Teach and mentor staff, offer evidence-based educational lectures, and participate in in-service training to support continuous learning.
- Work in a team-based environment, attending staff meetings, contributing to case discussions, and driving continuous quality improvement.
