The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of one year of phlebotomy experience and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care to our veterans. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform blood collection procedures, including venipuncture, capillary puncture, and other specimen collection techniques
- Accurately label, store, and process specimens for laboratory testing
- Ensure proper identification of patients and specimens to maintain patient safety
- Provide excellent customer service and support to patients, ensuring a comfortable and efficient experience
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations
- Communicate effectively with healthcare team members to ensure coordinated patient care
- Document patient information accurately in accordance with company policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Minimum of one-year experience as a phlebotomist
- Certification in phlebotomy preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a compassionate attitude towards patient care
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
