Spectrum Healthcare Resources presents an outstanding opportunity for a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse to work in our Behavioral Health department at the cutting-edge Fairfax Health Center in Fairfax, Virginia.

Department: Behavioral Health

Schedule:  Monday to Friday  

Time: 7am to 3:30pm or 8am to 4:30pm

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Observe and assess patients after initial dose is administered
  • Medical Preparation: Take pride in meticulously preparing medications that make a difference
  • Charting:  Provide the proper Immunizations in accordance with State regulatory requirements and record Immunization results in patients’ charts
  • Paperwork Proficiency: Complete patient paperwork with care and precision, making sure every detail is in order.
  • Inventory Management: Perform daily reconciliation and handling some aspects of medication stocking.

 

Your Qualifications:

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) School
  • Experience: 2 years of experience
  • License: Valid and current license from any state
  • Life Support: Maintain BLS certification from the American Heart Association to ensure you're always ready to provide essential care.
