Registered Nurse

Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for a Dialysis Registered Nurse to work in the Miami VA System - Miami, Florida.

Position Highlights:

• Weekend, Holiday, Evening and Night Hour Shifts
• 12 hour shifts

Position Responsibilities includes but not limited to:

• Patient assessment, triage, and monitoring

• provides comprehensive nursing care to patients end-stage renal disease who are being maintained by intermittent with hemodialysis and/or peritoneal dialysis in either a chronic unit setting or a critical care/acute care unit setting

• Partners with the patient, family, and interdisciplinary team to promote effective and safe transitions across the health care continuum

• Functions as primary nurse for ESRD patient panel and serves as key resource assisting patients navigate the healthcare system

Position Requirements:

• Active Nurse Licensure Compact
• Possess a minimum of three (3) years of experience as an RN working in hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis
• Current BLS and ACLS from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross
