Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Physical Therapists in delivering treatment that improves patient mobility, relieves pain, and prevents or reduces physical disabilities
- Perform various tasks related to patient treatment, including assisting with exercises, operating medical equipment, administering massages, and applying traction and ultrasound therapy.
- Record patient responses to treatment and report the outcome of each treatment to the Physical Therapist.
- Maintain patient records and assist with supporting documentation.
Requirements:
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant Associate Degree program.
- Licensure: Active State license or American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) certification
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years full-time as a Physical Therapist Assistant
- Current BLS certification
- Life Guard Certification
- If expired, Spectrum Healthcare Resources will provide financial reimbursement with proof of course/payment completion.
