Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for a civilian In-Patient Pharmacist supporting the Department of Veteran Affairs at the New Mexico VA Healthsystem inin Albuquerque, New Mexico.
This contract position offers:
- Full time opportunity
- Pharmacy services are operational 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, 365 days a year
- 8 -12 hour shifts available (min 12 hour rest period between shifts with 30 min lunch)

The position will have the following requirements:
- Graduate of an Accreditation Council on Pharmaceutical Education (ACPE) accredited school or university
- A current, valid, unrestricted license to practice Pharmacy in any one of the fifty states, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam or the U.S Virgin Islands.
- Proven knowledge, skills, and abilities associated with professional pharmacy practice
- Basic typing, PC computer skills, and working knowledge of MS Office
- Ability to sit/stand for long periods of time (8-10 hours) and lift up to 30 pounds
- Nature of services include operation and support of automated and manual filling equipment and preparation of prescription orders for mail-out dispensing
