Position Details:
- Schedule: 40 hours per week (Monday – Sunday) with 8-12 hour variable/rotating shifts. Holiday schedules may vary.
- Location: Madigan Army Medical Center, Joint Base Lewis McChord, Tacoma, WA
What You’ll Do:
- Provide expert labor and delivery care, from initial assessments to postpartum recovery.
- Support and educate expectant mothers and their families, ensuring a safe and positive birth experience.
- Monitor fetal well-being, recognize signs of distress, and collaborate with healthcare providers.
- Assist in vaginal and cesarean deliveries, ensuring seamless, high-quality care.
- Administer medications and interventions as needed, prioritizing patient safety.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
What You Bring:
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Education: Degree: Associates Degree of Nursing.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery RN experience
- Licensure: Active, unrestricted RN license
- Certifications: Active BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP
