Position Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree and graduation from a school of cytotechnology accredited by:

  • Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation

  • American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP)

  • American Medical Technologist (AMT)

  • Other organizations approved by the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS)

• Certification:

  • Current certification/registration by the American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP)

  • OR possess a current state-issued cytotechnologist license where the laboratory is located

• Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of experience within the last two (2) years as a cytotechnologist
