Cardiac Anesthesiologist

Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for a civilian Cardiac Anesthesiologist at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii 

Degree and Education:

• Board Certified in Anesthesiology.

• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). No on-line certifications will be accepted. Shall have certification in Transesophageal Echocardiography, and/or significant experience (minimum 12 months, including call responsibility and minimum 50 cases beyond residency training) in cardiac anesthesiology.

Position Requirements:

• Any State License
• Board Certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology
•  shall have actively practiced as anesthesiologists for at least six months within the past year prior to the commencement of services under this contract/task order. Shall have fellowship training and/or significant knowledge and experience (minimum 12 months, including call responsibility and minimum 50
  cases beyond residency training) in cardiac anesthesiology.
• ACLS and BLS certification

Description:

The contract anesthesiologists shall have sufficient education, knowledge, skills, abilities and experience to be able to adequately perform the tasks and duties identified in this work statement. The contract anesthesiologists shall have actively practiced as anesthesiologists for at least six months within the past year prior to the commencement of services under this contract/task order. Shall have fellowship training and/or significant knowledge and experience (minimum 12 months, including call responsibility and minimum 50 cases beyond residency training) in cardiac anesthesiology. Knowledge of the provision of medical management and consultation during the perioperative period, in Pain Medicine and in critical care medicine. Knowledge of a wide variety of anesthesiology procedures and techniques including the functional characteristics of complex respiratory equipment
