Medical Appointment Clerk

Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for a Medical Appointment Clerk at Seymour-Johnson AFB in NC. 

Requirements:

• Experience with medical terminology, appointment scheduling, and administrative procedures.
• Proficiency in computer and telephone operations to perform required tasks efficiently.
• Fluency in English to communicate effectively with patients and medical staff.
• Familiarity with medical scheduling systems such as Composite Health Care Systems (CHCS), AHLTA, MHS GENESIS, HAIM, and GSL.
• Ability to validate patient eligibility through the Defense Eligibility Enrollment System (DEERS) and update demographic information.
• Prior experience in customer service or medical office administration is preferred.

Work Schedule & Hours:

• Workdays: Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays.
• Shifts: 9-hour shifts, 1-hour uncompensated meal break.
• Maximum Weekly Hours: No more than 80 hours in a two-week period.
