Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (Diploma, AD, or BSN).
• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse license from any state, D.C., Puerto Rico, or U.S. territory.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum of three (3) years of full-time nursing experience within the last five years, with experience working in both medical-surgical and psychiatric nursing environments.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and computer skills.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients with both medical and psychiatric needs.
• Assess patient conditions, develop care plans, and evaluate the effectiveness of treatments.
• Administer medications, monitor patient responses, and communicate with the interdisciplinary team.
• Work closely with behavioral health providers to ensure the integration of psychiatric and medical care.
• Educate patients and families on managing both physical and psychiatric conditions.
• Accurately document care provided and maintain compliance with military, hospital, and Joint Commission standards.
• Shifts are rotating, prearranged, and will include weekends and holidays. Nurses will work no more than 84 hours per two-week pay period.
