Family Medicine Physician

Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opening for a Full-time Family Practice Medical Boards Division - Beaufort Naval Hospital; Beaufort, SC.

This contract position offers:

• Full-time, 40 hours per week
• Monday through Friday between hours of 6am and 7pm, to include an uncompensated 30 to 60 minute lunch break. (not to exceed 80/hours per two-week period)

Job Requirements:

 - MD or DO

 - Residency Trained FP or IM

 - Board Certification by the American Board of Family Medicine  OR American College of Osteopathic Family Medicine 

 - BLS Certification

 - Active, unrestricted license in one of the fifty states

Duties:

The HCW shall provide services within the scope of the clinical privileges, the applicable duties provided in the basic contract, and the following:

 - Review patient consults; conduct medical record reviews along with providing physical examinations to provide input to the Department Head regarding fitness for duty determinations, appropriateness of physical readiness waivers, and determinations of suitability for isolated, remote, overseas or operational assignment for all referred Active Duty, Reserve and Medically Retired personnel.

 - Construct narrative summaries for medical board cases and conduct overseas screening of active duty personnel.
