Job Description

 

Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for a Registered Nurse-Family Practice at Hickam Air Force Base located in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.

 

RN Position Details: Ind.Nurse

  • Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 9 hour shifts
  • No Weekend OR On-Call responsibilities!
  • Any State License Accepted
  • All paid Federal Holidays
  • Opportunity to provide care for Active Duty Military and their dependents
  • Excellent compensation ranging from $85,000 to $87,200

Position Qualifications:

 

Education: BSN preferred ADN Required - Graduate from a college or university accredited by National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC), or The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).

 

Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience for ADN or 2 years of experience for BSN in clinical nursing working with adults, children, families, seniors and groups. (Those with less than 3 years experience will still be considered.) Nurses with familiarity with the Military Healthcare System and Electronic Health Record is desirable. Nurses with work experience with Tri-care, AHLTA, CHCS, Military Health System Genesis systems preferred

 

Certifications:

  • BLS
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and In addition, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Course (NRC) certifications shall be as required by AFI 44-102.  

Licensure/Registration: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse in any one of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or the U.S. Virgin Islands 

 

RN Core Duties:

  • Coordinate patient care in collaboration with a wide array of healthcare professionals.
  • Facilitate the achievement of optimal outcomes in relation to clinical care, quality and cost effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with standards of care and practice in accordance with all established policies, procedures, and guidelines used in the MTF. 
  • Provide health promotions, counseling, and education.
  • Direct and supervise care provided by other healthcare professionals.
  • Accountable for making patient care assignments based on the scope of practice and skill level of assigned personnel. Recognize adverse signs and symptoms
    and quickly react in emergency situations.
  • Communicate and collaborate with a diverse group of people for the purpose of informing the healthcare team of plans/actions, for teaching/education
    to benefit the patient/family and organization
