LVN - Mental Health

Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a Potential Opportunity for an experienced Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to support the Mental Health Unit at Ft. Sam Houston in San Antonio, TX.

🔍 Key Requirements:

• Experience: 1+ year of full-time LVN experience in a mental health setting within the last 5 years

• Skills & Knowledge:

  • Familiar with PMDB, de-escalation techniques, and restraint procedures per Joint Commission standards

  • Understanding of mental health nursing, psychopharmacology, addiction/withdrawal, and individual/family dynamics

  • Ability to assist in patient assessment, treatment planning, education, and discharge coordination
