Advanced Medical Office Clerk

Join Spectrum Healthcare Resources in supporting our military community at Ireland Army Health Clinic in Fort Knox, Kentucky. We are seeking a professional, detail-oriented Advanced Medical Office Clerk to provide essential administrative support in a clinical setting.

✨ Qualifications:

✅ Typing & Communication

• Minimum 50 WPM typing speed

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Excellent grammar, spelling, and professional phone etiquette

✅ Experience & Skills

• 1+ year of experience in medical office scheduling or relevant admin/clerical work

• Familiar with electronic health records and medical record systems

• Skilled in using standard office equipment (computers, fax, phones, copiers)

• Knowledge of medical ethics, confidentiality, and record-keeping standards (JCAHO/AAAHC)

• RHIT or RHIA certification preferred but not required

✅ Education

• High School Diploma or GED

• Basic understanding of medical terminology

✅ Physical Requirements

• Mostly sedentary, with some standing, walking, bending

• Able to lift 25–50 lbs and use a step ladder to retrieve and file records
