Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for a Remote Rheumatologist at Haskell Indian Health Center, Lawrence, KS. This contract position offers:
- Remote, Part time up to 20 hours a month, 1 day on site every 3 months
- 8-10 patients a day for full day telehealth, 4-5 patients a day half day telehealth
- Must be located within 150 miles of Lawrence, KS
- Focus on treating patients, not running a business
- No insurance or bad debt hassles
Job Description:
- Interviews and examines patients, reviews past medical history and performs diagnostic tests
- Conducts outpatient clinics visits and consultations, observing patient's underlying disease and treatment plans
- Refers patients to appropriate contracted medical facilities, providing clinical infomration for care and diagnostic procedures
- Participates in teaching activites for clinical staff
- Performs procedures when indicated, such as joint injections
- Serves as a consultant to the Service Units medical staff in providing professional expertise
Job Requirements:
- MD or DO
- Clinical practice experience as a Rheumatologist
- Any Active State License
- BLS
