Clinical Pharmacist

Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for a Clinical Pharmacist at San Carlos Apache Healthcare, in Peridot, Arizona

  The Clinical Pharmacist position offers:

• 13 week assignment with possibility to extend
• Able to be flexible on days and hours: 8am-6:30pm

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science Degree from an accredited school of Pharmacy AND/OR Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
• Current and active state Pharmacy license, Arizona License preferred
• 2 years of pharmacy experience
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire

Job Functions:

• Selects, compounds, dispenses and preserves drug therapy 
• Reviews patient chart for drug sensitivities, drug interactions, dosage and therapy treatment
• Meets with patient/family to verify understanding of medication, potential drug interactions, possible side effects
• Organizes and maintains drug information sources, responds to questions from staff
• Prepares sterile products for patient administration; determines proper preparation, packaging, sterilization, storage and stability of requirements of product
