Medical Laboratory Technician (Claremore, OK – Indian Health Services)

Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to support the Indian Health Services in Claremore, Oklahoma. This government contract position offers consistent hours, competitive pay, and the ability to serve a unique patient population.
Key Responsibilities
Perform a variety of complex laboratory tests and procedures in chemistry, hematology, and blood banking.
Support pediatric and adult patient populations with high-quality diagnostic services.
Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including the Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics chemistry analyzer.
Document and report results accurately in Cerner Millennium electronic health records.
Collaborate with providers and healthcare team members to ensure timely and reliable lab results.
Minimum Requirements
At least 3 years of recent laboratory experience
Registered Laboratory Technician with ASCP (American Society of Clinical Pathologists) or AMT (American Medical Technologists)
AHA BLS Certification (current and active)
Blood Bank experience required
Pediatric laboratory experience required
Experience with Cerner Millennium
Experience with Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics chemistry analyzer
Chemistry/Ortho experience required
Phlebotomy skills preferred, but not required
