Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for a civilian Medical Physicist to support the Radiation oncology Service at the G. V. Sonny Montgomery VA Medical Center in Jackson, MS.

Job Responsibilities:
Medical Physicist shall be able to perform all external beam imaging, IMRT (Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy), IGRT (Image Guided Radiation Therapy) QA, monthly equipment calibration, annual equipment calibration, IROC (Imaging and Radiation Oncology Core) participation, TLD (Thermoluminescent Dosimeter) reports, electrometer and ionization chamber calibration and documentation, and beam profiles with the Sun Nuclear 3-D Scanner.
Medical Physicist should have experience on SBRT (Stereotactic body radiation therapy) treatment.
