Job Title: Registered Nurse – Behavioral Health
Location: William Beaumont Army Medical Center, Fort Bliss, TX
Schedule:
12-hour shifts with one 8-hour shift per two-week period
4–5 shifts biweekly, up to 80 hours per two-week period
Days vary Sunday–Saturday; schedule mission dependent
Provide comprehensive behavioral health nursing care in a military healthcare setting, supporting patient safety, readiness, and quality outcomes.
Coordinate patient care with interdisciplinary teams.
Ensure compliance with standards, policies, and procedures.
Perform assessments, exams, and health histories.
Provide health education, counseling, and interventions.
Administer medications and other treatments.
Supervise and assign tasks to nursing staff based on scope and skill.
Identify adverse symptoms and respond to emergencies.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and providers.
Coordinate referrals and specialty care.
Support research and quality improvement initiatives.
Serve a mission-focused military healthcare team
Support high-quality patient care in a professional clinical environment
