Job Description

Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for a Medical Records Clerk at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, FL.  

The position offers:

  • Outpatient Clinic  
  • M-F 7:00am – 4:30pm

Job Requirements:

 The Urologist will have the following requirements:

  • 6 months of exp. In a clinical setting 
  • BLS 
  • Knowledge of standard office equipment, such as computers, copiers, printers, fax machines and telephone systems to perform a substantial range of medical record maintenance support.
  • At least one-year experience to include handling patient records in a healthcare setting, managing electronic health records (EHR) or medical office software, and familiarity with medical terminology and HIPAA regulations.
  • Certified as a RHIT or Registered Health Information Administrator.

Core Duties:

  • Conducts daily pull, delivery and retrieval of patient records.
  • Greets patients/visitors at a front desk, information center or office setting
  • Answers main office phone line. Directs telephone calls to appropriate section for assistance. Take messages as required.
