Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for a civilian Emergency Medicine Physician at the Louis A Johnson VA Medical Center in Clarksburg, West Virgina.
Position Highlights:
- Provide Emergency medical care to adult patients
- Normal business hours for the Emergency Department are based on emergency department needs and may be adjusted by the emergency department leadership. Current shift hours are: 7:00am to 7:00pm, 8:00am to 8:00pm, 9:00am to 9:00pm, 10am to 10pm, 12:00pm to 8:00pm OR 7pm to 7:00am Wednesday through Tuesday.

- ED operates 24/7 and the provider will be involved in the evaluation, treatment and management of patients requiring acute medical and specialty care.
- Responsibilities include but are not limited to emergent intake, patient assessment, patient history and physical examinations
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
Requirements:
- Any state medical license
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine
- Experience working in an Emergency Room setting, 12 months within the last 24 months
- DEA and Controlled Substance Licensed
- Current BLS & ACLS life support certifications
