What We’re Looking For
Qualifications:
Typing & Communication
Minimum 50 WPM typing speed
Strong grammar, spelling, and written communication skills
Professional phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
Experience: 1+ year experience in medical scheduling or healthcare administrative support
Familiarity with electronic health record systems
Proficient with standard office equipment and software
Understanding of medical confidentiality and compliance standards
Education: High School Diploma or GED
Basic medical terminology knowledge required
RHIT or RHIA certification preferred (not required)
Physical Requirements: Primarily sedentary with occasional standing/walking
Ability to lift 25–50 lbs and retrieve records as needed
What You’ll Do
As an Advanced Medical Office Clerk, you will be the backbone of clinical administrative operations.
Responsibilities include:
Schedule patient appointments and manage clinic templates
Maintain and update electronic health records (EHR)
Ensure accurate documentation and medical record handling
Provide professional front desk and phone support
Process and file medical documentation in compliance with JCAHO/AAAHC standards
Support patient workload tracking and clinic readiness
Maintain confidentiality and uphold HIPAA standards
Your attention to detail ensures smooth clinic flow and exceptional patient experience for Soldiers and their families.
