Pathologist

Job Description:

Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an potential opportunity for a civilian Pathologist at Naval Medical Center San Diego (NMCSD) in California.

Details:

•  Great Patient Population
•  Out-Patient Clinic
•  Monday through Friday, between the hours of 0600 and 1630 hours.
•  Shifts will normally be scheduled for an 8.5, 9.5 or 10.5-hour period, to include an uncompensated 30-minute or 60-minute lunch break, respectively.
•  In no instance will the Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) HCW be required to provide services more than 80 hours per two-week period
•  May move between the Naval Medical Center San Diego and Naval Branch Health Clinic MCAS Miramar either weekly or more frequently
•  No nights, No weekends, No holidays
•  Freedom from Malpractice Insurance Worries
•  Salary to be determined but Employee or 1099 status avaiable in range of $140-200 hr 

Job Requirements:

The Position will have the following requirements:

•  Board certification through American Board of Pathology in both Anatomic and Clinical Pathology. Subspecialty certification preferred but not required.
•  Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in California.
•  Completion of graduate medical education program in pathology or a pathology subspecialty accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).
•  At least five years of independent clinical practice required.
•  BLS
