Dietician Technician

Spectrum Healthcare Resources is looking for a civillan Dietetic Technician for C.W. Bill Young VA Medical Center, Bay Pines FL.

Job Duties:  The contractor shall provide Clinical Dietetic Technician services onsite in support of the Department of Vetrans(VA), Bay Pines Vetrans Affairs Medical Center.(VAMC).

• Provides professional and courteous customer service via telephone, email
• Printsm prepares, and reviews meal tickets for assigned area(s)
• Correctly interprets diet activity and patient information to ensure patients requests and preferences, and current therapeutic diet order.

Qualifications

Must have experience performing duties in food service in a hosital enviorment of tray assesmbly area procedures.

Computer skills: Performing basic computer functions, including but not limited to written communication, data entry, internet navigation, and use of common office software Outlook.

• Dietetic Technician Registered(DTR)
• A Bachelor's degree or at least 24 semester hours in a nutrition DTR credentials are preferrred but not required.
