Requirements:
The Women’s Health Nurse Midwife position will have the following requirements:
- Master’s Degree in nursing from an accrediated institution
- Graduate from a certified nurse midwife education program accredited by the American College of Nurse Midwives
- Certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board - Certified Midwives obtain the national certification through the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB) and should have proficient management of routine and high-risk births as outlined in the standards of practice with the American College of Nurse Midwives.
- Certified in the speciality required by the ANCC or AANP
- Full, current, unrestricted Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice license in any state, territory, commonwealth, or the District of Columbia
- Two years of experience in the speciality within the past three years
