Medical Records Clerk

Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an Potential opportunity for a civilian Medical Records Clerk at  Missouri Army National Guard in Jefferson City, Mo.

 Job Requirements: 

The Medical Clerk will have the following requirements:

• High school diploma
• At least 1 year of administrative experience, preferably with medical records
  
• At least 6 months of experience within the last year working in a medical environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.

Job Duties include but not limited to:

• Receives patients, visitors, and telephone calls into the Emergency Department.
• Obtain identifying information and determines the nature of the visit/ call.
• Review all database information for accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
• Ensure required forms/documents are completed appropriately.
• Alternates duty days between the Registration Desk, Floater Desk and the ED Treatment Area (nursing station).
• Maintain positive customer service
