Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an excellent opportunity for a Full time Registered Nurse - Primary Care Triage at the Fairfax Ambulatory Care Clinic in Fairfax, VA.
This position offers:
- Full-Time Schedule: 39 hours/week
- Work Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 0630 - 2000
- Outpatient healthcare setting
- Work-life Balance: No on-call, weekend or holiday requirements, with 11 paid federal holidays off
- Pay range: $38.95-$44.37 per hour

Essential Functions:
- Conduct patient assessments through physical examinations and evaluate presenting concerns.
- Review medical histories and assess symptoms to determine the nature and severity of medical conditions.
- Monitor and document vital signs.
- Initiate appropriate emergency interventions when necessary.
- Perform triage assessments to prioritize patients based on the urgency and severity of their medical needs.
- Communicate patient conditions, assessment findings, and changes in status to physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members.
- Provide patient and family education.
- Facilitate the safe and timely transfer of patients to appropriate treatment areas.
Job Requirements:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
- Minimum of two years of RN experience, preferably within the last five years
