Provides requested information and assistance to patients whenever possible; refers patients to other appropriate sources for information if necessary. - Maintains and stock forms and inventory needed at front desk. - Performs various other clerical tasks to assist clinical staff members including obtaining pathology reports, x-rays, or other results from the specialty areas. Responsible for tracking of some reports including logging return of pathology reports in a computerized database. Approving/ disapproving sub specialty referrals. • Perform specific diagnostic and therapeutic practices and procedures in accordance with scope of practice. • Establish collaborative rapport with physician, nursing and others in order to promote and facilitate primary care services. • Teach patients and family member's healthy regimen and responsibility for achieving wellness. • Attend staff meetings to provide case discussion, continuing education, and continuous quality improvement.Qualify (Qualifying/Credentialing).
