Graduate from a college or university accredited by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) or completion of a Didactic Program in Dietetics (DPD) accredited by the ACEND, or completion of a post- Baccalaureate degree Dietetic Internship Program of supervised practice (for a minimum of 1200 hours) accredited by ACEND. In addition, the HCW shall also complete the online Air Force Health Promotion (HP) Orientation within six (6) months of hire/placement and attend the in-residence Air Force HP Workshop within 18 months of hire/placement. - Experience: Three (3) years of experience in wellness, diet therapy, sports nutrition or nutrition education. The nurses will be expected to perform services to injured workers in person and telephonically in Redding, CA.    Position Details: - Provide nursing services to injured Federal workers who have immediate time loss and has not returned to work within a specified number of days. - Will manage a case typically from 3 to 6 months - Following up with the physician’s office and employee’s supervisor to coordinate light duty, job accommodations and return to work date. - Enter necessary and any relevant information regarding each case into the OWCP/DFEC case management system. - Competitive Compensation, with an estimated annual income of  up to $130,000 depending on the caseload you would like to carry.         Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a full time opportunity for a Civilian Physical Therapist at Eielson Air Force Base in Fairbanks Alaska.   Job Description includes: - Full time employment, 40 hours per week - Monday through Friday - no weekends - Paid Federal holidays - Paid time off   - Manageable patient workload - Opportunity to treat chronic pain conditions for our military - Structured setting with support staff on site - Schedule offers work/life balance    The Physical Therapist will have the following requirements:  - Masters or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an American Physical Therapist Association (APTA) approved program.  - Any state Physical Therapist License - Experience required to meet clinical competency requirements specified by the Base - Valid BLS certification   Core Duties: • Perform a full range of physical therapist services in accordance with the scope of clinical privileges granted by the MTF including differential diagnosis. • Plan and prepare written treatment programs based on an evaluation of the patient. • Administer manual exercises to improve and maintain function. • Instruct, motivate, and assist patients in performing various physical activities, such as non-manual exercises, ambulatory functional activities, daily-living activities, and in use of assistive and supportive devices, such as crutches, canes, and prostheses. • Administer manual therapy to include: joint mobilization/manipulation and soft tissue mobilization, applying knowledge of mobilization techniques and body physiology. Certification in dry needling preferred. • Administer traction to relieve pain, using traction equipment. • Record treatment, response, and progress in patient's chart and/or automated systems. 17 • Coordinate treatment with physician and other staff members to obtain additional patient information, suggest revisions in treatment program and integrate physical therapy treatment with other aspects of the patient's health care.
